The most exciting thing I saw today were the California Poppies blooming along the roads in Auburn. It was mostly sunny and breezy. Today was a town day....we stack up all our errands to get them done in one trip...Auburn is a crazy busy town. Our longest stops were at the lumber pile in Home Depot and at the grocery store...gee Larry couldn't go in there because he had to guard the lumber tied down on the back of the truck...sure. The whole day is certainly shot by the time we get back home and get everything put away. We managed to catch the last rays sitting on our bench at the top of the hill with our new tea and our books.
Oh, on our way into town we got behind two crazy bicyclists soon past the quarry on 49, once they hit the decline they flew out of sight...scary thinking about going that fast on two little teeny thin wheels on such a winding road at the speeds they must have hit...crazy, crazy, crazy. We never did catch up to them.
Oh and the magnolias are starting to bloom...spring, spring, spring!
