Last Leaves with a View 3-6

These leaves are fascinating to me.  They are just as brown and old as the leaves covering the ground but still they hang onto the branches.  Through huge gusts of wind and heavy rain ripping at them they still hang on.  Yet...when one is ready to go it gently releases and drifts down at its own pace floating gently to the ground.  There are a surprising number of these old dry considered past their prime brown leaves rustling and crackling in the breezes and enjoying their view.  They are oddly inspirational.

Since last night we have gotten over another inch of rain, but at least it has been warmer and calmer.  Today was a yarn and crochet hook day with several pages of a good book thrown into the mix...oh and great conversation.  Larry and I got into one of our philosophical discussions this morning...still haven't solved the worlds problems though :)  Something one of reads usually gets us started.
