Wow, the clouds just seem to get stuck here...we got another 2.25 inches of rain since yesterday afternoon. It poured a few times even this morning...so much for just partly cloudy. We had to go out and adjust a few of the roses....two or three of them were bobbing around like they were in a bucket of water...and as I added more dirt and raised them up it was like they were on a water bed. The clay just doesn't drain and I think with all this rain the holes just filled up with water. Mother Nature was apparently confused and thought I had planted water lilies. Several others had settled so much we needed to add dirt to them too.
It is supposed to rain off and on all week.
