Cold & Sunny Day 1-7

It was a cold day today...barely reached 40. We did computer stuff today, a load of laundry and I knit on Seth's scarf. Darn it all to heck, Larry has a sore achilles tendon so we didn't take a walk...breaks my heart...not!

The jets and helicopters were busy today...its the sonic booms and the whatevers that sound like bombs that are a little nerve jangling...and we don't like a little freeway noise at our home...crazy but true. The freeway noise is constant and the other isn't every day.

We had a wonderful lunch at Casa de Suenos and then we went on into Tularosa to the Post Office, the store for milk and water and then to the Library so Larry could get a couple of more books.

The highway back home was closed because of an accident so we took the scenic route back...then we got behind a school bus and stopped at every kids house for about 2 miles...good thing we weren't in a hurry....I was driving, and I didn't care. We could have just waited for them to open the highway to traffic and we probably would have gotten home sooner, but what the heck...it was a nice day.

This is a picture of the scarf I did for Ian...the yarn did a wonderful self-striping. The last picture is of what my jokester husband claimed the bears did on their own...they want to know why we don't have a new home yet...laugh!
