Snow Again 1-8

We woke up to a surprise…everything was covered in snow again and it was very gray and cloudy and COLD. We picked this area because it NEVER snows here. We were in Houston, Texas three years ago this time of the year and we thought wow, near the Gulf Coast…warmer, but NOOooooOOO, there was ice and icicles hanging off everything and we kept hearing, it hardly ever gets this cold here…whatever. I guess we bring it with us.

The sun didn’t make an appearance until almost a couple hours before it was time to go back down and it was well into the afternoon before the temperature even approached 30 degrees and finally topped out at 32. Our water faucet stayed frozen most all day so we used our onboard water and we are already back down into the 20’s. The snow never even melted off of our slideouts all day.

There were icicles hanging off of our neighbors tailpipe and the little sparrows were drinking from the drips of water…I never got the shutter to release at the same time the bird was drinking, but you get the idea.
