Hanging with the Grandson 2-15

Today it was really, really windy and cloudy but no rain...which was nice because we went to Woodland to meet the kids and bring Ian home with us for a few days.  The wind was bad after we got over the Sac. River...we had a nice lunch with Ian, Connor, Andrea and Scott.  Connor is a cute as a button and he always lights up when he sees us...which we love of course.

Ian has settled in and we are waiting for Chopped to come on the Food Network...we got the kid hooked on it the last time he stayed with us.  Us old people are worn out already...but we missed the earlier show...dang it.

Ian wants to go hiking in the woods tomorrow...I will be doing my rain dance....raining, no hiking...ha ha!  I'll put him to work baking...he loves to cook.
