Quiet and Crystals 2-1-09

Today's low was 48 and the high was 76...it seemed to take awhile to warm up today. Larry left for his walk and I was still in bed. It was a quiet day for us today. We took a lap together after it had warmed up and another little stroll after dinner. We didn't care about today's famous football game, but we could tell by the yells from nearby gatherings when a team scored.

This first picture illustrates how things get done here in Yuma...one or two people do the work surrounded by many supervisors...watching someone work is a spectator sport here.

The last pictures are of my new crystals that I bought in Quartzsite last week. The quartz is 8.5 inches tall and the amethyst is about 5 inches across.
