A lovely day 7-7

We started our day visiting Larry's Mom Carol at the hospital. She is doing well and probably going home in the next few days. She had gotten back from her morning stroll through the halls and was sleepy so we didn't stay long. She has a lot of sleep to catch up on.

Then we went to Upper Lake and found the cemetery...Larry was on the hunt for more ancestors. He always finds a few more than expected. He is having fun with the geneology, though he is hitting dead ends on my side. While he was in the office I came across this pretty angel, she had two lizards sunning themselves on her.

Later this surprise visitor showed up and his Mom ditched him! He found a playmate in the mirror on our closet doors and he is small enough still that he cruises along right under the bed.

I managed to get dinner in Connor with none on me and later he even took a little snooze. Now that he is mobile and trying to figure things out the smiley boy shows his true colors with a flash temper. Hard to say if it is the Moniz or Laberdie temper, but he can certainly squeal at a pitch that is like nails on a chalkboard. He is doing the Pteradactyl scream at an earlier age than Ian did...scary.

I wish you could smell these mini carnations...one of my favorite cut flowers...they are so very wonderfully spicy smelling, last a long time and are happy colors.
