We took a trip up to Michelle's in Salem...we left on Friday and returned today. We had phenomenal weather for northern Oregon in mid-October. It is a long drive....nine hours if your drive straight through and didn't stop for fuel, bathroom breaks or food, ....we did all three of course and it took us eleven hours. I'll catch up tomorrow, just thought I had better check in!

I missed you! What a great trip to see family with a bonus of good weather, can't ask for much more.
People here in the Phoenix area talk about going to CA and can't believe why I find it such a long trip. From here, it's about 17 hours drive to northern CA where I go. A two day trip....much different than 'running over' to San Diego.
