Wow, an entire third of this year is now history! Today we just rested...it was sunny, not as breezy and we decided to just enjoy the day. Yesterday Larry finished mowing and I weed eated...it will all be going golden here soon but until then we are still enjoying the different wild flowers that keep cropping up.
I forgot to mention in my last entry that it was Larry's Uncle Gene's birthday...Happy Birthday! One of my most faithful readers. He has to come up with a new plan every few years now...I kept telling him he was selling himself short, he should be on at least a 20 year plan and he keeps outliving his...haha!

Yesterday we had a good laugh watching one of last years baby deer...that would be a yearling, playing with a yearling turkey. The deer kept trying to play tag with the turkey and they kept dodging each other around a bushy tree. The deer was flipping its head and kicking up its heels like a puppy...the only thing it didn't do was bark...very cute.
