Natural entertainment 11-4

Larry has been busy pulling and pounding nails around the entire house making the siding more secure and caulking all the seams and nails.

I've been busy but not at anything too exciting...finishing paintings, taking photos, editing etc.

A few days ago this squirrel was gathering dried grasses...it was amazing watching it use its little arms/paws to pack the huge pile it had hanging out of its mouth into a very large compact ball before it bounded off.

 

 
This hawk was perched at the very top of a pine tree...my telephoto didn't bring it as close as I would have liked, but the cropping helped a lot.
