And Catching up to Today!

Whew, getting all the way caught up.  The baby deer were a couple of days ago.  The roses were yesterday, as was the bathing hummingbird (they love showering when the roses drippers are on).  Today was the monarch butterfly, not easy, they take off if you get too close, while the crazy lizard just sits there and lets me get as close as I want.

Most of the older rose bushes are in their lull period, putting on their new growth for bloom round two.  The carnations are winding down as are the clematis, but after a rest they'll all be back.

I must share that if you've never had a facial, you must try it!  My skin looks like it is glowing, still, two days later and a few miles have been taken off...hahaha.

Oh, last night while I was outside helping Gracie find grass to eat, she had an upset stomach and she was grazing like a goat (grass is hard to find around here) a large fox went cruising by us like it thought it was invisible or we were...hahaha.  Larry hollered from the deck (we were behind the shop), see the fox on the path?  Well, no, but it seemed there was another smaller fox heading right for us.  They aren't fearful and we suspect they were the ones that got in our garbage last night.  Bad wildlife.

This is one of the new roses...so ruffly
