Moss, oaks, lichens and more

Hello!  We've been busy here at home.   We are grateful for the rain for two reasons, we need the water here in drought stricken California and we get to stay inside cocooned and dry doing things we enjoy doing indoors.

After one of the rains this week I wandered down to listen to the water flow along its path at the bottom of our "meadow" and all the luscious green skirts the oaks are currently wearing caught my eye.  So many different lengths and textures!

I imagine how it would be to be very tiny on this tree
and these would be like towering redwoods!

I looked UP!  Another whole world on this branch!
