Soon after the power went out Larry said a fire had broken out and shortly there after the planes were circling over our house...well that is never a good thing. The fire was a concern if they didn't get a handle on it quickly with the heat, the direction of the wind and where it was....danger, danger!
This picture I tiled together, I was playing to see how good it could be seen on the blog. |
When the house got too stuffy we went out, dragged chairs with us and sat down in the green shady meadow where a warm breeze was better then stuffy house air. We took a walk this evening about the time the sun went down and it was still 90. Cooler tomorrow though!
Air attack is the bright dot at the left top, tanker circling the fire. |
This is from the crest of the hill looking out above our neighbor's. |
I'm heading to bed, it's 11:30 p.m. and eighty degrees. This early heat has accelerated my garden, the gladiolus are getting ready to bloom, two weeks earlier than last year.
